THE PRICE OF BREAD.
To the Editor of the Globe. Hie, —Your columns aro always liberally thrown open to any one seeking information upon matters affecting the public weal. I am therefore emboldened to ask why the quartern loaf is charged 6d in Christchurch when delivered, whilst the same article is only charged 4Jd at the village of Sumner, also delivered. Probably there is a satisfactory reason, but I and others would bo glad to know it. Yours, &0,, ONE OF A LARGE FAMILY.
