[eeutee's telegeams.] SYDNEY, January 19. Arrived—City of New York, from Auckland. The Conference. The Intercolonial Conference met again to-day. The question of securing uniformity as to the regulations for the admission of barristers in the various colo- - nies was considered, but no decision was arrived at. A committee was appointed to enquire into tho recent massacres in the South Sea Islands, and also to investigate the powers possessed by the High Commissioner for the Western Pacific, with a view, if necessary, to memorialise the Home Government on the subject. A resolution was adopted in favor of the construction of railways to connect the various capitals in Australia, and it was further decided to pursue identical action in regard to legislative measures for the regulation of Chinese immigration. The Hon. Thomas Dick, the New Zealand delegate, arrived by the City of New York, and joins in the deliberations of the Conference to-morrow.
