Revenue-

The revenue of Victoria for the lastquarter amounted to £1,252,000, being an increase of £193,000 compared with the corresponding quarter of 187 9. The chief increases are:—Customs, £59,000; Excise, £63,000 ; Public Works, £67,000, The territorial revenue shows a decrease of £15,000. The revenue for the year 1880 amounted to £4,706,000, being an increase of £292,000 on 1879. ADELAIDE, January 7. Prorogation. The South Australian Parliament has been prorogued. Exports. The exports of the colony for the pust year show an increase of £1,000,000. SYDNEY, January 6. Revenue. The revenue for the quarter amounts to £1,583,000, being an increase of £333,000 compared with last year. Thera was s large increase of land sales.
