CITY GUARDS.
The City Guards fired their first match for their Challenge Belt yesterday morning, at the Cashmere range. The belt was won by Lance-Corporal Fraser, who will hold it until the first Wednesday in next month, when it will be again competed for. The conditions were—2oo and 300 yards, seven shots at each range, Sin, bulls-eye, any position. The following are the scores : 200 300 yds. yds. Tl.
