Mr Bray gave notice in the Assembly that, on the motion for going into committee of supply, he would move that the House declines to proceed with the Estimates until the Government have submitted proposals for the better adjustment of the expenditure and revenue. The Government treated this as a no-confidence motion and adjourned the House to the following day. On the 26ih the motion was debated and negatived.
