CORN EXCHANGE.

The following is the Corn Exchange report for the week ending Fridiy the 13th instant : Business during the week has heen of a most unimportant character ; values in all classes of grain, with the exception of wheat, are little changed. The weather continues to be all that can be desired, and the prospects of a favorable season are exceedingly good. Wheat —The market is somewhat bare of good milling samples. Millers are in the market, their stocks being low. Good milling quality is being enquired for, at from 4s to 43 ad; second quality, 3s to 3s 6d ; chick wheat, 2s to 23 6d ; seed wheat, 4s 3d to 4s 9d per bushel. Oats —The demand is not quite so brisk as in the preceding week, and values are a shade lower. Good Btout milling quality, IsCdto Is 7d per bushel. Good feed, Is 3d tols4d; inferior feed quality, Is to Is 2d per bushel. Barley—The value of this cereal has experienced little or no change throughout the season. The yield this season has been good, but the samples, taken as a whole, have been of inferior quality. Prime malting is saleable at from 3a to 3s 3d ; second cheap quality, 2s 3d to 2s 6d ; feed, 1* Gd to Is Sd per bushol. Potatoes —The market during the week has hardly been so active, but prices remain in statu quo. A few sales have taken place at from 22s 6d to 2*B per ton, at country stations within a radius of eight mills from Christchnreh, bags extra. Cheese and Butter—The market continues ■well supplied with these commodities, the supply being good and demand sluggish, the former 4d to 4£d per lb, the latter Sid to 9d per lb. Hay is worth 503 to 55s per ton, delivered in Christchnreh.
