MAGISTRATES’ COURTS.
CHRISTCHURCH. Thursday, August 10, FBefore G. L. Mollish, Esq., R.M.] Drunkenness. —A first offender was fined ss. William Francis Forder, who had only recently been discharged from gaol and promised to leave the town, and William Warner, who had used obscene language when drunk, were each fined 20s, with an alternative of forty-eight hours’ imprisonment. Willi >m John Andrews was fined in a like amount. He was arrested on Saturday and admitted to bail, hut, as he appeared in Court on Monday under the influence of liquor, he was remanded in custody.
