[By Teikghaph.J WELLINGTON. August s. Political nows is very dull, and there is no gossip stirring. Members are growing very weary of the session. I am assured positively that the Public Works Statement will bo delivered tomorrow. Nothing further has transpired as to its purport. All to-day was occupied with tho Wellington Racing Club Bill, and the Deceased Wife’s Sister Bill. Tho Native Oomrni.'sion’s third and final report is completed, and is expected momentarily. _____________
