[eeetee’s telegeams.] MELBOURNE, July^O. Suez Mail. The P. and O. Company’s steamer Kaisirchind, with the inward mails via Suez, which left London on June 4th, arrived at King George’s Sound to-day. Interest on Deposits. The banks have reduced the interest on deposits to 4 per cent. Shipping. Sailed —Rotomahana for the Bluff. MELBOURNE, July 21. The Political Situation. The political situation remains unchanged pending the meeting of Parliament to-morrow. It is understood that no meeting has yet taken place between Mr Berry and Sir John O’Shannasey, and much speculation continues to exist as to their probable relations in the House. A caucus of Opposition members will bo held to-day to decide upon their line of action.
