ODDFELLOWSHIP.

At the half-yearly meeting of the Oxford liodge on Monday Bro. D. Zwebruok was elected N.Gh, Bro. F. Powell V. 0.; at .the half-yearly meeting of the Oust Lodge on Tuesday Bro. Q-. Nankerville was installed N.GK, Bro. Euddenklau Y.G.; at the half-yearly meeting of the Ohoka Lodge on Wednesday evening Bro. J. W. Bradley was installed N.G., Bro. Q-. Olißt V.G.; at the half-yearly meeting at Woodend on Thursday evening Bro. W. Murfit was installed N.G., Bro. J. Knott V.G-. The half-yearly meeting of the Southbridge Lodge was held in the Lodge room on Wednesday evening, when the following officers were elected :—N.G., Bro. A. Low; T.G., Bro. G. Willis; 8.5.N.G., Bro. Wm. McVennie; L.S.N.G., Bro. C. Patterson; K.S.Y.G., Bro. J. Andrews; L.S.V.G-., Bro. J. Foley ; tyler, Bro. T. Shearman ; warden, Bro. C. Tillyshort ; secretary, Bro. J. J. McCaskey. The total amount of contributions received by the secretary amounted to £3O. The Loyal Pride of the Valley Lodge, held their opening meeting in the Heathcote schoolroom on Thursday night, the presiding officers on the occasion being the officers of the North Canterbury District, a number of past officers of other lodges being also present. On the lodge being -declared duly opened, eleven members were initiated. Prov. G-.M. Liddell conducted the initiation service. The election of officers was then proceeded with, when the following were •declared to be duly elected :—G.M., Bro. W. "Woodford; M\G., Bro. F. W. Sandford; T.Gr., W. B. Dale; P. 8., W. Woolstein. The Pror. G-.M., in responding to the sentiments, congratulated the lodge on the efficiency of its officers, under whose management it would be an honor to fcha neighborhood.
