SUNDAY SCHOOL CENTENARY CELEBRATION.
Daring the ensuing week the centenary of the Sunday school movement will be celebrated in an elaborate manner. To-morrow (Sunday) there will be a united prayer meeting in tho Baptist churoh, Oxford terrace, at 9 a.m., to ba conducted by the president of the Sunday School Urn'on, and special sermons will be delivered in all churches on "The Claims of Sunday Schools on the Churches," whilst "united services" for children will be held in the afternoon. Particulars as to the time and places of meeting may be obtained by reference to the advertisement. On Monday a ladies' convention ■will be held in the U.M.F. church schoolroom, St. Asaph street, and a scholars' tea and conversazione is announced to take place in the Oddfellows' Hall, and the general convention will be hold in the Wesleyan schoolroom, Durham street, on Wednesday. A soiree will alio be held in the evening. For Thursday a grand saored concert in St. Paul's is announced, i orl on Friday the celebration will be brought t> a close with a united communion servioe in the Trinity Congregational Church.
