£PBB BBBSB ASSOCIATION SPECIAL WIBB.] WELLINGTON, June 25. The following are the vital statistics for the month of May, 1880 :
The total births in the above boroughs amounted to 462, against 510 in April, being a decrease of 48. The deaths amounted to 140 in May, a decrease of 39 on the number in April. Of the above deaths males contributed 83, and females 57. 58 of the deaths 'were those of children under five years of age, being 41.43 per cent of the whole number; 46 of these were of children under one year of age. ___^____^__
