The following is the conclusion of the business done at Messrs H. Matson and Co.’s property sale yesterday, the commencement of which was given in our yesterday’s issue : Section fronting Springfield road,three-eighths of an acre, £IOO, E. E. Walton; 25 feet frontage to Whateley road,with buildings thereon, subject to 21 years’ lease from July Ist, 1872, passed in at £275; 50 feet frontage to Whateley road, with buildings thereon, subject to lease fori 21 years from Jan. 25th, 1804, £6OO, Mr Johnston ; 39 feet frontage to Whateley road,{with shop and dwelling, subject to 21 years’ lease from February 15th, 1873, passed in at £675 ; Mr Gapes’ shop was sold to that gentleman for £650; 25 feet frontage to Whateley road, freehold, pan d in at £290 ; corner section, freehold, having 31ft frontage to Whateley road, and 50ft to Peterborough street, with building occupied by a monthly tenant, passed in at £450 ; 25ft frontage to Peterborough street, freehold, passed in at £l9O. Three sections having to Peterborough and Montreal streets, each subject to a lease of four and a-half years, passed in at £7OO for tho lot. Two sections, each eighth of an acre, situate noar St Asaph and Montreal streets, passed in at £230 ; and two others similar, but without buildings, passed in at £145. Eighth of an acre, fronting Lower High and Barbadoes streets, two lots, £SOO, Mr P. Doherty. Taldhnrst—2o acre block, knocked down at £ls an acre to Mr Leatham; do, 72 acres, at £l3 an acre, Mr John McLean. Wheateheaf —40 acres, passed in at £7 10s an ocre. Styx—374 acres, eight years to run, ranging from 10s to £8 an acre, passed in at £275. Temuka Brewery, freehold, with seventeen years’ unexpirad lease, at £IOO a year, passed in at £I6OO. Harrison’s Farm —Five quarter-acre sections, at £29 a section. Mr Morgan; throe, do, at £25 a section, Mr Boss. Avonside Fifteen sections ranging from quarter of an acre to 1 rood 15 perches, passed in at £55.
