SYDNEY, June 16. Shipping. Arrived—Ringarooma, s.s., from Auckland. The Budget. In the Legislative Assembly the Colonial Treasurer has introduced his financial statement. He said that in consequence of Parliament approving of only part of the proposals of the last budget, and largely in consequence of the decrease in the revenue from the land sales, instead of the surplus he then expected, there was a deficit of £440,000. The deficit is to be covered by an increase of taxes on the export of wool—greasy -Jd, washed and scoured on horses and cattle exported, Gd per head, and a royalty of 6d per ton on the output of coal. It was also intended to re-introduce the Stamp Bill as amended, and in accord with the Legislative Council. The Treasurer estimates the revenue for the remainder of the year at £3,140,000, and the expenditure at £2,800,000. The next year's revenue he estimates at £5,230,000. _
