[reuter ? s telegrams.] LONDON, Jane 15. Shipping. The Orient Company’s steamship Sorata arrived at Plymouth to-day from Australia. The MarketsConsols have risen ono eighth, and are quoted at 98], ox dividend. The Timaru waterworks loan of £60,000 at 7 per cent, is announced. In Now Zealand securities the Five Per Cent. 10.40 Loan is at 104; the Five Per Cent. 1889 Loan at 103 ; the Four and Half Per Cent--1879—1904 Loan at 98. Now Zealand wheat, ex ship, is at 495.; Adelaide wheat, ex warehouse, at 51s; flour, ex warehouse, at 38s; Australian tallow, host beef, 32s 6d; best mutton, 34s 6d. The Australian Eleven. The match between the Australians and eighteen players of Belfast was continued to day. The Home team in their second innings were disposed of for 130 runs. The Australians then wont in for their second innings, and
have lost no wickets for 74 runs; Bannerman, not out, 31 runs, Murdoch, not out, 43 runs. Turkey and the Conference. It is said that Turkey considers that the decision of the European Conference is not binding, becavgs she has been excluded, and the agreement was expected to be general among the members of the Conference.
