PEDIGREE AND PERFORMANCES OF CAMBALLO.

The following is the pedigree of Camilla:—

The following are the performances of Camballo since his arrival in New Zealand : 1878 —Canterbury Metropolitan Meeting, Garrying Bst lib, unplaced in Free Handicap, 1 mile, won by Danebury ; at the Dunedin Spring Meeting, carryisg 6st 121 b, third in St. Andrew's Handicap, won by Mufti ; and, carrying 7et 41b, won the President's and Grand Stand Handicaps, 1J and 1£ miles respectively, beating fields of four and five in each race ; at Oarnaru, carrying Git 81b, ran second to Maritana in the Oarnaru Grand Handicap, If miles. isro- Dunodin Summer Meeting, carrying Gst 9at, unplaced in Dunedin Cup, won ky Mata, ard, carrying 7sc 41b, finished third in the Publicans' Handicap, lj miles, won by Foul Play. Shortly after this he won the South Canterbury J.C. Handicap (7st 51bs), 2 miles, boating three others ; and the Flying Handicap (7st), J mile, beating five others. He was unplaced in the Autumn and Easter Handicaps at the Canterbury Autumn Meeting, carrying 7st on each occasion ; but with Bst 71bs on his back at the same meeting, he won the Selling Race, beating a field of ten. At the Dunedin Spring Meeting he won the Spring Handicap of 45 eovs., 1 mile and a distance, carrying Sat 71bs, and beating two others ; and at the same meeting, carrying 21bs less, he was second to Lara in the Grand Stand Handicap, li miles. His last performance previous to the present meeting, was in the Dunedin Cup of 1830, where, carrying 7st 31bs, he failed to secure a situation.
