THE DRUIDS

The usual fortnightly meeting of the Oak of Sydenham Lodge was held at their lodge room, St. Saviour's schoolroom, laßt evening. Bro. Richards gave an eloquent address in reference to the order by special request. The lodge passed a hearty vote of thanks by acclamation. One member was initiated into the order. One member was proposed. Bro. Swinnerfcon read his appointmenu from the Grand Lodge as D.P., which was received with applause. A cordial vote of thanks was passed to F.D.F. Bro. Oppenheirn for the services he has rendered during his term of office, which was replied to in suitable termß. A hearty vote of thanks was passed to Bro. Duckworth for his gift of a cash box. After other routine business, the lodge closed in due form.
