[EEUTER’s TELEGEAMS.] Melbourne, April 8. Sailed—Albion. Sydney, April 8. An uproarious meeting of the Lambton miners was held at Newcastle to-day. The majority of the men are inclined to continue work. A large body of police were present, in consequence of apprehension of a riot. The steamer Menmuir arrived at Port Darwin from Hong Kong with 556 Chinese, including twenty-six for New York. Another steamer with Chinese is expected at Port Darwin in a few days.
