SPORTING.
WANGANUI RACES, [from our own correspondent.] Wanganui, March 12. Considerable interest is taken in the races. The weather is good and every prospect of a good meeting. Otawa is the favorite for Flying and Jockey Club Handicaps, and is backed heavily to win the double event. Gladiola and Gladys are the most fancied for the Derby. Slander Colt and Midge are eqnal favorites for the Sapling Stakes. For the Hurdle Race Grey Momus only is fancied. The Southern horses are not thought much of.
