[By Telegraph.] [per press agency.] HOUSE OF REPRESENTATI YES. Friday, October 12. MINISTERIAL ARRANGEMENTS, The House met at 7.30 p.m. Major Atkinson said he had not received any further communication from the Governor. Therefore he and his colleagues still held office. Mr Larnach said he was glad to say he had met with exemplary success in forming a new Ministry. He had submitted certain names to his Excellency, who had appointed noon to-morrow for swearing them in. He would ask the House to adjourn till Monday, at 7.30 p.m. The House then adjourned. THE HEW MINISTRY. [By Telegraph.] |_PEH PRESS AGENCY.] Wellington, October 13. The following gentlemen were sworn in members of the new Ministry, at noon, before the Governor : —Sir G. Grey (understood to be Premier) ; Mr Sheehan, Native Minister ; Mr Macandrew, Minister for Lands ; and Mr Larnach, Minister for Public Works. Mr Ballance is to bo sworn in this afternoon as Treasurer. It is stated on the best authority that there are £350,000 extra Provincial liabilities more than had been estimated by the late Government, and which will have to be provided for by the new Treasurer.
