MAGISTRATES' COURTS.
CHRISTCHURCH. Saturday, At/gust 4. (Before Dr. Deamer, J.P.) DRUNKENNESS. —Michael Nccdham and John Fletcher, charged with being drunk at the railway station, were each fined 10s and cahhire. Charles Benson, who was still suffering from the effects of drink, was remanded for eight day for medical treatment. Embezzlement. —W. H. Patterson, alias T. H. Fielding, answered to his bail on above charge, and was told that if the Governor's warrant for his removal to Victoria did not arrive during the day, his bail would bo extended until Thursday next.
