AMUSEMENTS.

THE LYDIA HOWARDE TROUPE. The Lydia Howarde Troupe was again greeted with an excellent house last evening. Owing to the illness of Miss Howarde, Fra Diavolo was substituted for Lucia di Lammermoor. As Fra Diavolo Mdlle Rolange Navaro achieved a most decided success, not only playing the character with great care, but singing the music with much taste, and in good" style. As Zerlina, Miss Nye further confirmed the good opinion she has already earned. Mr Power, as Beppo, was most amusing, and the other parts were fairly well rendered. The comedietta of “Did you ever send your wife to Camberwell ” concluded the performance. The same piece will be repeated this evening.
