GENERAL ASSEMBLY.

(Per Press Agency.') HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES. Thursday, June 22. The business of the House of Representatives last night was chiefly formal, being the appointment of the usual sessional committees. Sir J. Vogel gave notice to move to-day that before going on with any other business the House would be asked to pass a resolu tion to the effect that the Piako Swamp sale would be carried out. He also gave notice that he would move that Mr O’Rorke be appointed chairman of committees. The address in reply is to be moved on Tuesday. The House adjourned till 7.30 to-day.
