Mr M'Kay’s Glengarry, 9st 41bs 1 Mr O’Brien’s Auckland Kate, 9st 41bs ... 2 Mr Carson’s Merry Bird, 7st fUbs ... 3 Glengarry won easily, after a slow race, by four lengths. Time, 3min 2secs. Dunedin Cup. Mr Delamain’s Punga were were, 6st 101 b 1 Mr Coombes’ Pdght Bower, 7st 31b ... 2 Mr Yeend’a King Philip, Bst 3 Fifteen started. Korari and Templeton were scratched. Pungawerewere won by a length ; Right Bower second : King Philip a grand third ; Guy Fawkes fourth. Time, 4miu 7£secs.
