Tuesday, November 9. Mails close at Chief Post Office for the following places, as under, subject to necessary alterations:— For Otago, per overland, at 5.30 a.m. For Wellington, Nelson, and Australian Colonies, per Alhambra, at 1.50 p.m. Late letters, 2.10 p.m.; Railway Station, 2.30 p.m. train, Wednesday, November 10. For the Northern ports, per Phoebe. Hour of closing in a future notice. Mails for the United Kingdom, via San Francisco, will close on Wednesday, the 17th hist. J. J. FITZGIBBON, Chief Postmaster.
