Interprofessional Boat Race. —We ■would remind such of our readers as are interested in this race that entries close on Saturday. Owing to other races coming off, up to the present there is not one crew in training, but at the same time there are members of the banks, merchants, and civil service who are doing hard work daily in preparation for the C.R.C President’s prize, which is to be rowed for on Saturday at New Brighton, and all they have to do is to get together as soon as possible. It would be well if the squatting interest were to take the hint and go in for some steady practice next week. We have heard nothing more about the press coming forward, but perhaps they will show up at the right time.
