[prom our special correspondent.] Dunedin, December 4, The Guardian is authorised to state that Mr Vogel has placed £500,000 worth of debentures on the Sydney market. The Cromwell Company has brought another cake of gold, weighing 1410 ounces, into town. Mr J, L. Gillies has presented £IOO, the bulk of which was a purse of sovereigns presented to him by Ids constituents, to the Tokomariro Grammar School as a foundation for an open scholarship. The Comet cases are concluded, and j udgment will be given on Monday.
