WALKER DEFEATS EBERT. (Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Feb. 10. The professional wrestling season opened to-night when George \\ ajker. British Empire and Canadian heavyweight champion, deieated Fred. Ebert, heavy weight champion of Austria, bv two falls to one. Walker secured thee first fall in the second round with an armlock and body scissors. Ebert evened in the fourth round with a fall by means of a back loop slam. ■ . . „ . . The deciding fall came. in tno sixth round, when Walker lilted his opponent bodily, hurled him to tho canvas, and then pinned him. It was a .strenuous, exciting bout, with a. fair amount of roughness. At, the opening of the sixth round, Walker threw the Austrian right out of the ring. There was a large attendance ot the public, which became thoroughly roused on-several occasions.
