ACRES OF BUILDINGS DESTROYED. DAMAGE ESTIMATED AT QUARTER OF A MILLION. (Received Jan. 31. 5.50 p.m.) BRUSSELS, Jan. 30. A big fire broke out in the centre of the city. Several acres of build_ ings were destroyed. The damage is estimated at a quarter of a million sterling.—A. and N.Z.C.A.
