NEW WAY WITH “FLU.” VACCINES BY MEANS OF SPRAYS AN EFFECTIVE CUBE. “Influenza weather” is making its yearly visit in England, says the Sunday News, but, ‘by the use of vaccines doctors are hopeful of preventing an epidemic. This form of treatment has been beyond the reach of the average patient, because of its expensiveness and inconvenience. But, instead of using hypodermic injections, vaccines can now he applied by means ol sprayings into the nostrils and to the back of the throat. . A west-end practitioner said it has already been demonstrated that certain vaccines, prepared from ailments affecting the skin and the mucous membranes, were just as. effective when applied under the skin.
