SELECTION OF N.Z. TEAM FOK ENGLAND POSTPONED'. CHRISTCHURCH, Jan. 24. At the request of the Selection Committee of the New Zealand Cricket ■ Council, the Management Committee lias agreed to the postponement .of the election of ,tlie first eight players of the team to tour England. It is now suggested that February 7, the date, of the Melbourne'Auckland match, will be the latest date for the selection to be made.—E.A.
