GISBORNE B.C. Championship Singles.—The following games must be completed by Thursday next: Boys v. F. Henderson; C. Adair v. A. Cbleman; Nisbett v. Campbell; Gandell v. H. EL Bright. KAHUTIA GREEN. There was a good attendance of bowlers at the Kahutia green on Saturday. hollowing arc some of the games played off:— Championship Singles (winning section)—Sawyer 19 v. Power 18. Sawyer and Eaton remain in this section. Ordinary games.—Ashworth, Franz, Mason, Prince (s) 18 v, AVhippey, Power, Scarle, Rothwell (s) 13. Mellor, Solvauder, Town, Harkess (s) 23 v.. H. AA 7 cbb, Spence, Buttermore A. Sawyer (s) 21.. Another full-rink game was played, but the scores were not obtainable, owing to the same being obliterated. A start in the Gibbs’ Cup and Hennessey Memorial Vase competitions. will shortly be made, and those who intend competing, are advised to get their names in early.
