ANNUAL GIFT DAY

Tlie members of the Cook County Women’s Guild held their annual gift afternoon in connection with tho children’s Creche at Findlay’s rooms yesterdav. There was a large attendand a large offering of groceries and household necessities were brought along. It was reported that there arc at present 20 children in the Home, and the Guild only receives assistance from the Charitable Aid Board for one of these. The satisfying of 19 healthy little appetites all tne rear round i» no small order, but thanks to liberal public support the Guild has been able not only to keep the institution going, but to par off the cost of the budding. £I6OO, which was erected three year* ago. , .. During the seven years tne Greene has been in existence, no less than 230 have been succored. The Guild will be thankful at any time for donations towards this very deserving institution.
