TAIRAWAITILAND LAND BOARD.
YESTERDAY ’ S SITTJ NG S. The Tairawhiti Native Land Board continued its sitting yesterday. His Honor Judge Jones presided. Confirmation of sale was granted in the case of Waipapa No. 89, Mawore te Ua to Robert Blair Sim. Applications for the confirmation of leases were--granted in the following cases:—Manutahi 2A7 (part), Makers Takawhen.ua to William Hayes Owen Johnston - Tokomaru K2, Te Rina Pate no Waita and Tanara Waita or Whakataka to John G.recn ; Tokomaru G2B, Natives to John Green. Applications to summon meetings of owners 1 under Part XVIIL of the Native Land Act, wore granted as follows:—Hauomatuku 9A, sale to Ernest F. Krause; Mangaheia IB3A, leaso to Frederick Taylor; Okahuatiu IA2, lease to Eria Raukura; Wailioa No. 2, lease to Wiremu Potac.
The following miscellaneous applications were granted:—Nuliaka 2EBC 17D, consent to assignment of lease from Tarniti. Marein to Karepa Paku and another; Rotokautuku 6K2.\, revocation of Order in Council declaring land subject to Part XVI. The following resolutions, passed by assembled owners under Part XVlllwere confirmed : Ha'liaenga .Block, lease to Robert Preston, .of Maimtuko; Pukemanuki 82, lease to Huno poi and another; Pukekaahu 8, lease to M..,Smith and another; Pukehaaku 1, lease to M. Smith and another; Abirau IA, sale to Brosnahau. The Board will continue its sitting to-day opening at 10.30 a.m.
