LON DOM WOOL SALES. Dalgety and Company, Ltd., have received a cablegram from their head office, London, to the effect that on July 5 good combings greasy merinos were selling freely at 10 per cent higher, while other sorts were 5 per cent higher; best scoured 15 to 20 per cent; inferior, 5 nor cent; fine crossbreds, 10 per cent; medium coarse 5 to i \ per cent higher than last sales. ADDINGTON STOCK -MARKET. (PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.)* CHRISTCHURCH July 7. At the Addington live stock market there was a moderate entry of fat stock and a good attendance. Fat cattle showed some improvement, amt fat lambs sold at about last week's rates. There was a keen demand for store sheep, especially for hoggets and ewes. Fat sheep were tinner. Store Sheep.—Good sound mouthed ewes 15. s to 21s, medium sound mouthed ewes 12s to i-ts 5(1, fairly good sound mouthed, four, six and eigfA - tooth ewes J4s Od to 20s (id, inferior four, six and eight-tooth ewes 14s 6d to 20s (kl, inferior four, six amt eight tooth ewes 12s lid to ,14s, forward hoggets 15s to ](>s 7d, fairly good hoggets 12s 9d to I ts 6d, inferior hoggets 8s 9d to 10s lid, good ewe hoggets 14s to 17s 2d, four and six-tooth wethers 9s (id to 20s Kl. Fat Landis. —Prime lambs’lßs Oil to 24s Id, medium 15s to ISs, light and unfinished 13s 6d to 14s 6d.

Fat Sheep.—Extra prime wethers to 30s, prime wethers 22s to 27s fid. others 18s 9d to 21s 6d, merino wethers 16s Id to 17s, extra prime ewes to 335. prime ewes 20s to 27s (id,■ medium ewes 16s to 19s 6d. interior owes 12s 5d to 16s, merino ewes 9s to its sd.

Fat Cattle. —Extra steers to £l7 17s 6d. ordinary steers £8 to £11,12s 6d, extra heifers to £l4, ordinary heifers £5 17u Gd to £9 10s, extra cows £ll 7s 6d, ordinary cows £5 17s 6d to £9. (Price of heel’ per 1001 b. 25s to 37s 6d, extra to 40s).

Store Cattle. —Yearlings Cl 18s, two-year steers £8 2s. dry cows £1 12s Cd to £4 15s,- dairy cows £8 to £lO 10s. Fat Pigs.—Choppers 50s to 90s. extra heavy baconers to 80s, heavy baconers 70s to 755, light baconers 55s to 675. (Price per lb, sjd), heavy porkers 38s to 455, light porkers 28s to 85s.
