The < ‘Standard’s” Berlin correspondent mentions a scandal caused through the “Neuo trie Press” publishing the purport of Herr Sclioeu’s •strictly confidential statement to the Budget Committee of the Reichstag, giving numerous revelations connected with foreign policy, seriously embarrassing the Government. Herr Noske, a Socialist member of the Committee, admitted divulging the information, and begged tlie Committee’s pardon. He said ho was unaware that the information was intended to be kept secret.
