THE BELGIAN ANNEXATION. RECOGNISED BY GERMANY. United Press Association. Copyright LONDON, Jan. 29. Germany has recognised Belgium’s annexation of the Congo as purely a Belgian* "domestic concern. The “Times” regrets the decision at a moment when Sir Edward Grey is still pressing in a friendly spirit for precise information as to the stops Belgium proposes to take with a view to remedying admitted abuses.
