The Thdrsday competition ms continued at the Victoria Domain yesterday -Only one game was played, as Cosmopolitan were unable to raise :a team, and forfeited to Union. CHRISTCHURCH, Dec. 17. * At a meeting of the New Zealand Cricket Council to-night the following (resolution was' carried . Ibat the Southland Cricket Association be informed of the disqualification of the (Southland Caledonian Society by the New Zealand iSports Federation, and that this Council upholds the decision of the Federation.” The secretary of the Council was instructed to write to the secretary of the Southland Association .pointing out that Southland cricketers who are /members of the Caledonian Society will have to resign from the Society if they wish to play cricket,
