GISBORNE CLUB

The members of the Gish or ne Bawling Club mustered in good force on their green yesterday rafter noon. The green played well considering its l'ecent soaking, and a very pleasant time was spent. Match games in different sections of the handicap pail's, and one in the handicap singles, were got off, in addition to a number of practice games. The results were as follows:

(Handicap Pairs. PI. Miller and Corson (11) 34 heat It. Crawford and G. Miller (10) 25. Kyme and Ambridge (6) 30 beat T. Clarkson and Craig (o) 28. Kyme and Ambridge (6) 25, beat Puvitt and Hennessy (4) 18. Handicap Singles. Ga.udiu (1) 20 beat. Williams (7) 19.

W. Pettie, Eure, R. Robertson, and T. A. Crawford (skip 23, boat Williams, W. It. Clarkson, Gaudin, and Ponsford (skip) 13. Malcolm, O’Meara, Redstone, and iSiuuson (skip) 19, beat Seymour, T. Robertson, Bullock and Witty (skip) 16.

J. F. Pettie, Dodds, Wilson, and (Lucas (skip) 21, beat Dyer, G. Miller, Hennessy, (and PL Midler (skip) 15.

TURANGANUI CLUB. There was a very good muster of •members on the green of tlie Turanganui Bowling Club yesterday afternoon. The green played very fairly considering the wetting it had just received. A match in the A section of the handicap pairs was played l between iHay and Nasmith (scr) and iMcSkimming and Neill (2). The game was very one-sided, the latter pair winning easily by 26 to 9. A number o ; f practice games were allso played. Entries for the Bennett Cup (singles) will close to-morrow afternoon.
