WHATATUTU RACING CLUB
Tlie Wbatatutu racecourse has been considerably improved for the annual meeting which will bo heOd on Boxing Day. iTilie programme includes seven event®, the chief of which is the Whatatntii Cup, for which eighteen horses have accepted, while nineteen horses are left in the Flying Handicap. Every accommodation will be provided for the (public, and dnaigs for the course will meet the train at Puha. The last race will be trim in time for visitors to catch the train to Gisborne. Mr. J. Erskine will have charge of the refreshment booth.
