LICENSING POLL
THE MASTERTON PETITION. PROBABLE ADJOURNMENT. (Press Association.] MASTERTON, Dec. 14, Mr. C. A. Pownall, solicitor, who was instructed to appear in support of the application to upset • the .noliconse poll carried in Masterton, is soriously ill. An application is to he made for an adjournment of the hearing of tho petition, in, which public interest is keenly manifested. It is 'understood the No-license party have no objection to an 'adjournment, and probably the hearing will not come on before the beginning or middle of January.
