WELLINGTON, Dec. 13
Mr. Henry Bodley, who contested tho Wellington North seat at the general election, Qias furnished the ■returning officer with a return showing that his total expenses amounted to £ls 10s, the whole sum being expended in advertising and printing. Mr. A. L. Herdman’s expenses amounted to £lO6 19s 7d at tho first ballot and £4B 10s 2d at the second ballot. Of the first-mentioned sum, £29 14s 6d was for advertising, £8 16s for printing, £32 3s 6d for halls, £ls for a secretary, and £l2 Is 7d fol’ postages.
