TH UR-SDAY CHAMPIONSHIP. The Thursday championship fixtures were continued on the Domain yesterday afternoon. The weather was beautifully ■ fine and warm, but the high wind blowing was at times slightly embarrassing to both howlers and batsmen.

UNITED v. TE RAU. United won tlio toss and went to the wickets, but did not fare any too wet’: against the Te Ran trundlers, and were all dismissed for -89 rims. W. Gibson was top scorer with 28, while H. Wack, Featon, and: Scholium were the most successful! of the bowlers tried. Te Rau on going in to bat did even worse than their opponents, and were all out for the small total of 44 runs, J. Wack and J. Moore being the only batsmen to obtain double figures.
