The Defence Estimates have been introduced 1 in the House of Representatives.. They amount to £722,543, an increase of £10.734 on the previous year. A
The Federal Government has received the terms on which Mr. Brennan is willing to concede the use of his hiono-ra.il, If the Government pay £6OOO before the end of the year towards the cost of final experiments they would bo granted its use in Australia on a 5 per cent royalty.
