. DUNEDIN, Nov. 30

At the meeting of the Benevolent Trustees to-day reference was made to the large increase in the amount expended on relief, and. it was decided—‘‘That, the Minister be .respectfully requested when framing his proposed Hospitals and Charitable Aid Bill to make provision for a labor colony, and for the coercion of the loafer who neglects to support- himself and those dependent on him.”
