The Auckland Public Library has benefited considerably by the * addition of soino_ interesting "Shakespearian relics, given by Air. J. H. H. Pickworth, of Wkakatane. The articles, four in number, are a copy of a signet ring, a medallion, a medal, and a wooden peg from the bard's historic birthplace. They have now been placed with other relics in a case at the library entrance.
