THE BAY OF PLENTY CONTEST.
The second ballot for the Bay of Plenty electorate wULtake l' lac ® J"' day, between Mr. W. D. S. Mac donaid, who hi standing as a Governnient candidate, and Mr. J.B. Gow, who is standing .as a supporter of the Opposition Party. The polling booths will be open from 9 a.m. until 0 P-> n - The polling places arc the as toi the first ballot, and the same othcials will be in attendance. Anv of Mr. J. B. Cow’s supporters who wish to be conveyed from town to the polling booth to-day are r quested to communicate with Mr Lissant Clayton s office. . A * Wf monts have been made to run out at intervals so as to suit tho convenience of voters as tar P A Sl pr°ivate telegram from Rotorua, received yesterday, states that Messrs Gow and Henries had a splendid meeting there on Saturday night, and that feeling there is very favorable towards the Opposition candidate, who is sure to poll well.
