HORSE SALE
There was a fair attendance of buyers at Messrs Williams and Kettle’s horse sate on Saturday. Sixty-seven horses were yarded, and fairly satisfactory prices were offered. Hacks sold from -£3 10s to £l2, and poorer sorts fetched from £1 to £3, harness horses brought from £8 to £l2, and a few unbroken horses sold from £1 to £3. PRODUCE SALES.
Messrs Malcoml and Co., auctioneers, report the following prices realised at their sales on Saturday: Butter lOd to lid lb, cabbage 3s sack, new potatoes 3d lb, yeas 2d peck, Up-to-Date potatoes 10s 6d sack, Up-to-Dato seed potatoes Id lb. Messrs Malcolm and Co. also held a satisfactory furniture saile, when fair prices were realised. Messrs Miller and Craig report the following prices realised at their usual! sale on Saturday: liens Is j'Lcb 'fto 12s 9d, roosters' 2s to 2s 6d, chickens lOcl, ducks 2s Id, guinea fowls 3s Id', oggs Is to Is 2d, ter 8d to Is, new potatoes 3)d lb, green peas 2s peck, cabbage 3d bundle, cabbage 5s sack, walnuts 4-id lb, turnips Is 8d doz bundles, lemons 6d doz, onions 2id to 3d lb, rhubarb 6d bundle. CUSTOMS. The following revenue was received at the Custom-house last week : Customs duties £672 3s 4cl, beer duty £35 12s 6d, light dues £lB 13s 3d, shipping fees 3s, Harbor Board revenue £2OO Is Bd, other receipts £1 6s 4d; total, £928 0s Id.
