CONSEIIVATIVE VICTORIES

United Press. Association, Copyright (lleceived Nov. 3, 11.32 p.m.) LONDON, Nov. 3. The Conservative Unionists gained a great victory in the municipal election in the English and Welsh boroughs. The gain was seven seats at Liverpool and Manchester, five at Nottingham, Carlisle and Blackburn, four at Wigan, Leeds, and Huddersfield, chiefly at the expense of the Liberal®. Up to the present tho Conservative Moderates have gained 127 seats, the Liberal Progressives 32, the Labor party 11, and the Socialists 12, and the Independents 14. The Liberal gains were made at Huddersfield, Plymouth, Keighley, Macclesfield, and Accrington. The women candidates met with little success.
