FRANK THORNTON'S FAREWELL TOUR.
A liotalilo event in theatrical annals must bo recorded oil the occasion ol Mr. Finnic Thornton's approaching visit, seeing that lie is on a farewell tour, and, after closing tlio present tour of tho Dominion and Australia, finally retires from tho stage. Mr. Thornton, with a now London company supporting him, appears on Wednesday next for a three-mights’ season of comedy at His Majesty’s Theatre. He announces a change of bill for each night. Tlio opening play will be that marvellous laughing comedy “Charley’s Aunt” to lie followed by “Facing the Music” with tlio "Private Secretary” as the last production. Tlio plans will ho on view at Miller’s to-morrow morning.
